Do you still remember those young school girls kidnapped in northeastern Nigeria town of Chibok about 200 days ago? I mean those we now call the Chibok Girls abducted in their hostel by the dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram. Okay! The news is not that the 200 girls have been released by their abductors cum kidnappers. No! That's not the news. The news is that Nigerians patiently await their release today barring any change of minds.
One Mallam Danladi Ahmadu had last Friday told the Hausa service of the Voice of America (VOA) that the girls would surely be released today to the President of Chad Republic, Idriss Derby who will later hand the girls to the Nigerian government.
The self-acclaimed Secretary-General of Boko Haram disclosed that an enlarged meeting of the group had been fixed for the weekend, to prepare ground for the meeting with the Federal Government today, affirming that the final ceasefire and the release of the Chibok girls were promises that would surely be fulfilled by the group.
All eyes on Idriss Derby to receive the Chibok girls from Boko Haram TODAY! Imagine what those girls would have passed through in the hands of terrorists for almost 200 days. Imagine the bad lessons they would have learnt? Imagine the pains their parents have gone through. Imagine! Imagine!! Imagine!!! Sincerely, their ordeals (daughters and parents) are better imagined than experienced.
I only pray everything works out as planned for the safe return of these young girls to their parents. I pray ooo!!!
