<b>A 40-year-old father of 3, Samson Ibrahim, has lost his life when he engaged a rival, Alaba Adeshina, in a fight over a girl. The incident happened at a local bar called <i>‘Lady Show Bar’</i> in Pako Idimu, a suburb of Lagos State.</b></div>

According to information, <b>Ibrahim</b> had gone to the bar on January 1, 2015, with some friends to celebrate the New Year, but he could not return back to his wife and children as he was injured in the 'love' fight that ensued and he died subsequently from the grave injuries he sustained.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The information has it that Ibrahim was not happy that his rival, <b>Adeshina</b>, was trying to woo his girlfriend and in an attempt to stop the intruder, a brutal fight occurred and he lost his life in the process. Adeshina reportedly stabbed Ibrahim in the stomach with a broken bottle, forcing his intestines out.</div>

Narrating what transpired that led to the deadly fight, the prime suspect, 34-year-old Adeshina said:</div>

"I had gone to the bar with my friends and brothers to celebrate the New Year. We were eating and drinking when I saw two ladies smoking at the bar. I admired one of them. My intention was to get acquainted with her and use the opportunity to advise her against smoking.</div>

"But when I approached her, she barked at me and threatened to smash a bottle on my head.</div>

"Before I knew what was happening, a man came out from nowhere and landed his fist across my face, accusing me of trying to take his girl. By then, one of my brothers, <b>Segun Olowopejo</b>, cautioned me to be careful and asked me to leave the bar.</div>

Authorities asked Tanisha what led her to commit the brutal beating in which she responded <b>"I had a dream that Bishop was cheating on me"</b>. Although as crazy as the motive sounds, authorities speculate that Tanisha is indeed telling the truth. Tanisha told authorities she had a dream of Bishop having sexual relations with another woman in their own bed, before she woke up and beat Bishop.</div>

When asked his opinion on Tanisha’s motives for beating him, that being he was cheating in her dream, Bishop responded <b>"sh*t I don’t even know what to think, you gotta be a crazy b*tch to beat someone for dreaming of someone cheating… but I actually did cheat a few days ago, but there’s no way she could've known about that so, I’m actually glad I cheated cause now it seems like I didn’t get beat for no reason. But she still a crazy b*tch if you ask me"</b>. After revealing that he actually cheated without Tanisha’s knowledge, Bishop became unconscious.</div>

The newspaper stated that, "As learnt by our team of investigative reporters, the DRE finding was indicative of prostate cancer, arc; Asymmetry of prostate gland. <b>A Niger Delta activist and spokesperson for the Ijaw Republican Assembly, Ms. Annkio Briggs, has described the emergence of a former Minister of Education, Mr. Nyesom Wike, as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] in Rivers State as unfair.</b></div>

<b>President Goodluck Jonathan has deployed the jets in the presidential fleet for campaigns, while almost all state governors have been using the resources of their states for the February general elections, SUNDAY PUNCH’s investigations have shown.</b></div>

A few weeks ago, political parties signed a code of conduct, which states that the use of government resources for political campaigns is unlawful. The Code is a document prepared by the Independent National Electoral Commission in 2013.</div>

A part of the code of conduct states, “All political parties shall separate party business from government business. No political party shall use state vehicles or other public resources for any electioneering campaigns or any other party business.”</div>

But contrary to the code of conduct, since Jonathan commenced his campaigns across Nigeria, virtually all the 11 jets in the presidential fleet have been used for one campaign trip or the other.</div>

The Presidential Air Fleet include two Falcon 7X jets, two Falcon 900 jets, Gulfstream 550, one Boeing 737 BBJ (Nigerian Air Force 001 or Eagle One), and Gulfstream IVSP. Others are one Gulfstream V, Cessna Citation 2 aircraft and Hawker Siddley 125-800 jet.</div>
