<b>The Presidency on Thursday morning broke its silence on the whereabouts of President Goodluck Jonathan’s wife, Patience.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Media Assistant to Mrs. Jonathan, Mr. Ayo Adewuyi, in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja said the President’s wife is currently in Congo.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
He said Mrs. Jonathan was in the country to join her colleagues from Africa for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of a non-governmental organisation, <b>Congo Assistance Foundation</b>, floated by the Congolese First Lady, Madam Antoinette Sassou-Nguesso.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Adewuyi however did not indicate when Mrs. Jonathan arrived Congo or when she is expected back in Nigeria.</div>

He only said his principal was received on arrival by Nigeria's Ambassador to Congo Brazzaville, Princess Onipede, in company of top Congolese officials.</div>

The President’s wife has not been seen attending any public event inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja, since her husband lost his re-election bid in the March 28 presidential election.</div>

She was conspicuously absent during the Good Friday and Easter Sunday services held inside the Aso Villa Chapel.</div>

Mrs. Jonathan did not also join her husband for the funeral service held in honour of his top aide, Oronto Douglas, in Yenagoa last Saturday.</div>

While she voted alongside her husband in the presidential election in Otuoke, Bayelsa State, she stayed back in her home state, Rivers, during the April 11 governorship election.</div>

She had expressed fears ahead of the elections that she would be thrown into prison if Muhammadu Buhari wins the election.</div>

Thursday’s result marks the second time that Wan Azizah, 62, has stepped in for her husband during his controversial imprisonments. There was no immediate statement from her.</div>

She won the same seat in 1999, replacing Anwar after her husband was sacked as deputy prime minister in Malaysia’s long-ruling government and jailed on previous sodomy and corruption charges widely considered politically motivated.</div>

That imprisonment left Wan Azizah at the head of the reform movement that emerged in response to Anwar's ouster, and she twice defended the seat.</div>

Kovacheva was seen punching the baby, who is named Nicole, in the stomach and face because she would not quiet down.</div>

She then grabbed the baby by one arm, took her out of the bassinet and continued to abuse her by hitting her in the face, shaking her and biting her.</div>

The baby had suffered terrible injuries. She was taken to the hospital’s intensive care unit, where it was feared that baby Nicole would not make it. However, after being treated, doctors now say that she is expected to recover.</div>

When the nurse was arrested, she initially denied the allegations. However, when she was confronted with the video, Kovacheva admitted that she was frustrated because the baby did not fall asleep. She did not want the baby to wake the other sleeping newborns.</div>

Kovacheva is facing charges of attempted murder. Her attorneys are pushing for the charge to be lowered to inflicting grievous bodily harm. If she is convicted of attempted murder, she can be sentenced to 20 years behind bars.</div>

<b>AfricanOutlookonline</b> gathered that, the clash broke out between students of Lafenwa High School and Premier Grammar School, shortly after the end of the West African School Certificate Examination, (WASCE), as the alleged cultist engaged themselves in supremacy tussle. The schools located in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of the State are a stone's throw away from each other.</div>

The Ogun State Vigilante Service, however, arrested nine suspects which include six artisans alleged to have been contracted by the cultists to participate in the cult clash. The suspects destroyed patrol vehicle of the Vigilante Service in an attempt to escape arrest. They were caught with dangerous weapons such as charms locally made chisels, and marijuana among others.</div>

The arrested suspects include; Taiwo Ibukun (18) of Lafenwa High School, Adegbesan Yusuf (19) Premier Grammar School, Ojuh Kingsley (19) Premier Grammar School, Emmanuel Oladipupo (21) who is a local tyre technician locally known as vulcanizer, Abiodun Sodiq (16), autobody shop artisan locally known as panel beater, Idowu Shakiru (20) vulcanizer, Ademola Isikilu (17) Tailor, Quadri Sobowale (20) vulcanizer and Surak Aliu (20) a painter.</div>

During a visit to the headquarters of Vigilante Service, at about 4.00pm local time, the suspects were seen being interrogated, while arrangements were ongoing to transfer them with the exhibits to the police.</div>

When contacted, Public Relations Officer of the Vigilante Services, Soji Ganzalo confirmed the incident, explaining that the men of the command raced to the scene, following a distress call received from the schools' managements. He said the suspects on sighting the men of the Vigilante Services, launched an attack, destroying the patrol van of the command, but were overpowered leading to the arrest of the nine suspects, who were in the command custody as at the time of our correspondent visit.</div>

Ganzallo disclosed to newsmen that the suspects would be transferred to the police before the end of the day, adding that, a number of dangerous weapons and drugs which include; Indian hemp, charms, alcohol and locally made chisels were recovered from them.</div>

Hear him: "Yes, there was a clash between the students, and we received distress calls and raced to the scene, and our men were able to arrest nine of the suspects. The Command spokesman, however, appealed to parents and guardians on the need for proper and adequate monitoring of their children and wards, observing that, such cult clash occurred mostly while the West Africa School Certificate (WASC) examination is rounding off.</div>

The MP for Streatham has repeatedly refused to set out his leadership ambitions and is actively loyal to Mr Miliband. The former PM sees Mr Umunna as a "natural heir" to his New Labour legacy, said a friend. Since being elevated to the Shadow Cabinet, Mr Umunna has stuck to his business brief, but in recent weeks has been more outspoken on immigration in the face of the Ukip surge. His strident defence of the benefits of immigration to the UK has drawn further admiration from Mr Blair who is in total agreement, said a source.</div>

The Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Arc. Olamilekan Adegbite who signed the contract on behalf of the State Government said the contract also included the construction of a grade separator at Lusada Junction.</div>

Arc. Adegbite disclosed that Agbara-Atan and Lusada-Igbesa township roads would be reconstructed into four lanes while Lusada-Alapoti road would be in two lanes with a four lane carriage way grade separator at Lusada junction.</div>

He said the need to reconstruct the projects arose because of the deplorable conditions of the roads and the need to upgrade the existing roads to 'Ogun Standard' infrastructural projects that will improve the living standard of the populace.</div>

According to him, "the deplorable state of the roads necessitated the need to reconstruct them to provide free flow of traffic and improve the living conditions of the people around the area".</div>

The Commissioner also said the road when completed will link the low density populated area of Agbara, Atan, Lusada, Alapoti towns with the Industrial Estate at Agbara and would also ensure reduction of travel time especially with the Average Daily Traffic (ADT) volume of 115,750 vehicles per day which is above the capacity of the roads presently.</div>

The originally Byzantine church, restored in 1864, has not functioned as a Christian church for over forty years, ever since it was acquired by private owners. Büchel, who is married to an Icelandic woman and has been a citizen there for seven years, redecorated the interior of the church in every detail according to <a href="http://www.futuroquotidiano.com/biennale-venezia-prove-tolleranza/">Islamic standards</a>. He adorned the walls with baroque Arabic script, covered the floor with a prayer carpet facing Mecca, hung mosque lamps and installed a mihrab where the crucifix had been.</div>
