The Nigerian government has announced a drop in pump price of Premium Motor Spirit [PMS] popularly called petrol to ₦87 a litre.


At an on-going press conference, petroleum Minister Dieziani Allison-Madueke says the price drop which takes immediate effect is in response to the fall in global oil market.

PMS currently sells for ₦97 per litre before this announcement.
