The news of former President Olusegun Obasanjo leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), due to his disagreement with President Goodluck Jonathan whom he accused of failing in leadership and encouraging corruption has generated lots of negative and positive criticism from Nigerians.
Some are disappointed about his exit while others, including Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, are celebrating his exit from the party.
Fayose who is well known for his controversial newspaper adverts sponsored a front page ad on the Sun newspaper in which he congratulated PDP members on the exit of former President Obasanjo from the party whom he refers to as the "troubler and tormentor" of PDP.
There is also a part where he uses words like, "Goodbye to bad rubbish" also adding that the coast is now clear for President Goodluck Jonathan's victory.
