President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday, January 6, held a top-level security meeting with Nigeria’s military chiefs.

The meeting, which held at the Presidential Villa, reportedly also had the Governors of Borno, Adamawa, Yobe and Kaduna States in attendance.

The purpose for the meeting is still unclear but it is believed to be centered on the current insecurity plaguing the Northeastern part of the country.
