According to a report monitored on the Facebook page of Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, the APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari has been declared winner of the presidential election in Kaduna State.
Buhari polled 1,127,760 votes to defeat the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan who garnered 484,085 votes (30%).
Kaduna is the home State of incumbent Vice President Namadi Sambo. We had earlier reported that Sambo was beaten by the APC at his ward despite winning his polling unit.
El-Rufai is a former Minister of the FCT during the Obasanjo regime. He is currently standing election as the governorship candidate of APC in the April 11 guber elections.
