The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared a female banker, Geraldine Faikabuna, wanted in connection with a case of Criminal Conspiracy, Stealing and Fraudulent Withdrawal.
In a statement by the anti-graft agency, Faikabuna, committed the crime using her position as a banker with the Diobu Micro-Finance Bank Limited located at 15B Bishop Bara-Hart/Okoye Street, Port Harcourt, Rivers State to carry out several unauthorized transactions and withdrawals on accounts of customers of the bank as well as electronic transfer from the bank’s reserve to the tune of ₦52.8 million.
The agency said Faikabuna, whose maiden name is Kagbo Amadi, is 30 years old and hails from Amadi Ebereonwu’s Compound, Adanta Village in Isiokpo Town, Ikwerre Local Government area of the state.
The statement also noted that her last known address was No. 32B Okilton Drive, Off Ada George Road, Port Harcourt, urging anyone with useful information that could lead to her arrest to contact the Commission through its various offices in Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt and Abuja or through the following numbers: 09-4604620, 070-26350721, 070-26350722, 070-26350723,070-6350724, 070-26350725, or it e-mail address: info@efccnigeria.org or the nearest Police Station and other security agencies.
