A 25-year-old man, Familola Ayodeji, has been arrested by the Ekiti State Police Command for allegedly raping an 85-year-old woman on the 25th of December 2014.


According to the police, the suspect sneaked into the victim’s room and bolted the door, thereby committing the atrocity. He went into hiding after the act but was later caught after a widespread man hunt.

A medical report has however showed that the victim was rapped. Ayodeji is to appear in court soon, report says.
