Drunk Driver Kills Grandma, Pregnant Daughter, Grandson

An apparent drunk driver who is reported to be on his way back from the club with his friends in the early morning of Saturday, January 10, killed a grandma, her grandson and her pregnant daughter in Ikeja, Lagos State.

An eye witness reported this on Twitter, with a photo of the car which killed the trio.

Some other social media users confirmed seeing the scene of the accident.

“Saw the scene this morning. Couldnt stop but did not need to be told that it was bad” a user named Debs says.

“Oh my, l saw the damaged vehicle oh, it broke the gate of the transformer. So sad for this family, so sad. Those boys must have been dead drunk & on high speed. They should charge the driver for involuntary manslaughter & drunk” another user confirmed.

Details of this unfortunate incident are yet to be revealed.
