LOL... One fact people should appreciate these days is that the world has gone far beyond where they erroneously think it is. This is an era where information technology (IT) exposes every lie you tell except the conventional lies that have nothing to do with documents, be it hard or soft form.

Africa Independent Television (AIT) is in the news one more time. First, it's running a sponsored campaign of calumny against APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari. All the 'facts' AIT has been presenting are being punctured by versatile Nigerian youths, Hence, the Buhari story is a bunch of lies here and there. In an attempt to test the viability of the documentary, AIT organised an online poll on its website for Nigerians to indicate who they would vote for. To AIT's surprise, the APC candidate was the choice of 'voters'. As at the time the poll was pulled down by AIT, Buhari was having a comfortable lead with 77% of online voters making him their choice while incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan, an ally of AIT ex-Chairman Raymond Dopkesi, was trailing behind with 22%.

Rattled by this development, AIT pulled down the poll with the website saying it was under going maintenance. However, AIT released a statement to media houses with a CSV file claiming the poll was compromised as its credibility audit on the poll revealed that APC hackers manipulated the poll in favour of Buhari.

That claim has bow been busted by education, intelligent and IT compliant Nigerians who were quick to pick holes in the CSV file released by AIT.

In fact, we are in modern age. Quite different from the 1990s when anyone could tell us the sky is black without contradiction. Today, people should think well before telling us the sky is blue. Otherwise, IT may prove them wrong.

Yet, some PDP apologists want Buhari to participate in a debate with Jonathan where this badly compromised private TV station is one of the moderators.
