The driver saw a long queue of vehicles caused by the police checkpoint. The driver did not want to ram into the vehicles on the queue and veered off the lane. That was when the car was cleared to go.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> “The driver of the car saw the truck and drove into the bush. He condemned the Fashola administration who he said distributed safety crash helmets to commercial motorcyclists before the 2011 elections only to retrieve them back after winning the elections.<br /> <br /> <i>"The commercial motorcyclists popularly called Okada riders were all given the safety crash helmets before the 2011 election by the ruling party, but after the election victory, the government not only withdraw their crash helmets but seize all their motorcycles and destroy them. Many of them are now jobless and in deep hardship because their main means of livelihood now forcefully taken away from them"</i>, Agbaje said.<br /> <br /> He has this for the electorate: <i>"Lagosians must determine the Lagos of their dream as they cast their votes for their next Executive Governor.
