Buhari, Osinbajo, Tambuwal, Ikimi Attend Oshiomhole's Wedding

Edo State governor, Adam Oshiomhole, on Friday got married to his lover, Iara Fortes, five years after he lost his wife, Clara.

Among guests at the event were President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari; Vice-President-elect, Yemi Osibajo; Senator Bukola Saraki, and Director General of the Nigeria Governors' Forum, Asishana Okauru.

Others were Speaker of House of Representatives and governor-elect of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal; Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, former governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi; Senator-elect Dino Melaye, Dr. Samuel Ogbemudia, Senator Domingo Obende, Benin business mogul, Captain Hosa Okunbor and many others.

Among the surprise faces at the wedding ceremony were political foes of the governor in the state, Chief Tom Ikimi and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, who showed up at the ceremony at about 11:09 a.m.

Iara Fortes, a Cape Verde national, and former air hostess at Emirate Airlines, is in her early thirties, according to reports.

Oshiomhole lost his wife, Clara, to cancer in 2010 at the age of 54.
