The collation of results and announcement of collated results were going on smoothly until a former Minister of Niger-Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe, disrupted the proceedings.
Orubebe was one of the PDP's agents at the collation center. He had expressed his party's objection to the way the INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, had handled their complaint on the collation exercise.
