The president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, was in Lagos today to campaign for the Lagos APC governorship candidate, Akinwumi Ambode.
The president-elect also met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
General Buhari and the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola; former Governor of Lagos, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; the Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi; APC chieftain, Senator Chris Ngige and other dignitaries later headed to Orile for Ambode's campaign.
The president-elect is expected to pay a "Thank You" visit to Owerri, Imo State, later today.
