Those eagerly waiting for the court’s verdict on the consolidated suit seeking to disqualify General Muhammadu Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC would have to wait till Wednesday.
The judgment on the suit, which is asking the court to disqualify General Buhari from the presidential election slated for Saturday because of the many allegations bordering on his academic qualifications has been adjourned till Wednesday by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
No fewer than 10 suits had been filed against Buhari but all were consolidated since they all have the same prayer. Justice Adeniyi Ademola had adjourned to March 24 but had to adjourn again. General Buhari, the APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC are listed as 1st, 2nd and 3rd respondents respectively.
