Reports in the media suggest that Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has jetted out to London in a bid to get evidence alluding to a negative health status of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate.
General Buhari who left for London last week has been accused by Fayose of not being physically fit to run the country and have even churned out disparaging adverts against the former military Head of State.
While Fayose insists that Buhari visited a London hospital and has asked him to swear if he didn't, the APC has not found Fayose's intrusion funny and has said it would hold Fayose responsible if anything happened to Buhari.
If indeed Fayose is in London, then it all but signifies the seriousness of the 2015 elections as it can’t be imagined that a sitting governor will relinquish power in his State and go on the trails of an opposing presidential candidate.
