Hajia Mujahidat Daba Asari-Dokubo, wife of former Niger Delta militant leader, Mujahid Asari Dokubo, has lashed out at South Westerners who are against the second term ambition of President Goodluck Jonathan.

Asari's wife took to her Facebook page, saying ignorant South-westerners have joined forces with the north to frustrate Jonathan's transformation agenda.

She described the South-westerners ganging with the North as 'wicked and ignorant'.

Mrs Dokubo, a supporter of Jonathan just like her husband, expressed optimism that Jonathan will win the February 14 presidential elections, putting all enemies of democracy to shame.

Below is what she posted on Facebook:
"The north has ganged up against the south east, the south south and other minorities in Nigeria .This fight is not against GEJ. It's pure hatred against the goose that lays the golden eggs. As for the wicked and ignorant south westerners who have decided to form alliance with the north to truncate the transformation agenda of GEJ, history will forever remember them and their offspring's as betrayals of the south and it shall never be well with them. From all indication when the results start trickling in on February 14th GEJ will win with a landslide victory and all enemies of democracy will be put shame. Amen."
Mujahidat has always taken her husband’s position on issues of national interest. She had insisted just like her husband that the abduction of the over 200 school girls in Chibok, Borno State by Boko Haram was a scam.

With the February elections fast approaching and political campaigns already in full swing, the two powerful presidential contenders, President Jonathan representing the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Muhammadu Buhari, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC) are trying to woo Nigerians to their side.

While Buhari can boast of a huge fan base in the North, Jonathan can boast of support from the South-South region, where he hails from, and parts of the South-East.

The South-West obviously would be where the presidential elections could be lost or won as both of them have no ties to the region.
