Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, was among the entertainers who stepped into politics recently. Unlike her colleague, Desmond Elliot, who won a chance to contest for an Assembly seat in Lagos State on the platform of the APC, Kate Henshaw unfortunately, she has lost out in the PDP primaries for House of Reps for her constituency - Akpabuyo, Bakassi and Calabar South constituency, in Cross River State.

She confirmed the news on twitter and immediately messages from her fans started pouring in, consoling and appreciating her sportsman-like approach to politics. 

Kate Henshaw wrote:

“The primaries was conducted in an orderly manner. It was fair and  transparent. Sadly I did not make it. My congrats to the winner.”
