<b>A woman has been found pushing her dead three-year-old son on a park swing.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The 24-year-old mother, who hasn't been identified, was reportedly seen pushing her dead son on the swing at Wills Memorial Park in La Plata, Maryland, on Friday morning.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It's believed that she may have been at the park all night, and the child didn't have any visible signs of trauma, police said.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In a press release, police explained that they arrived at the park after hearing reports of a woman pushing a young child in a swing for an unusually long time.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But when they arrived at the park shortly before 7am, they realised that the boy was dead and his mother was pushing him back and forth on the swing.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
She has now been taken to hospital, while an autopsy is set to determine the cause of her son's death.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Diane Richardson, a spokeswoman with the Sheriff's Office, said: "It's a very sad and tragic situation for the mother, her family, the officers.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"We're working very hard on that".</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Paul Robert Benson, 24, was caught on CCTV stealing £104.54 worth of produce from a Tesco supermarket in Belfast.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Unfortunately Paul clearly forgot he was wearing a Manchester United shirt with "Benson 22" printed on the back of it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He made a quick getaway after realising he had been spotted by staff, however when police reviewed the CCTV footage they realised Benson had given them the best clue they could ask for.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Benson was soon arrested and pleaded guilty to theft last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, berated Benson by saying he may as well have had a "neon sign" identifying himself while committing the theft.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He was given a 12 month probation order, reports <a href="http://metro.co.uk/2015/05/21/man-shoplifts-while-wearing-a-football-shirt-with-his-name-on-it-quickly-gets-caught-5209697/">Metro UK</a>.</div>

<b>The Nigerian Army on Friday held the traditional "pull out" ceremony for 34 infantry generals who retired between 2005 and 2015.</b></div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Mr. Shoboiki admonished the serving military personnel to remain focused and resolute, and exhibit total loyalty to the constituted authorities.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Your loyalty to the Federal Republic of Nigeria can best be given through vigilance and security consciousness", he said. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Some Muslim youths on Friday stormed the Kano Government House and the palace of the Emir of Kano, Mahammad Sanusi II, to protest an alleged blaspheming of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) by a Tijjani preacher, Abdul Nyass.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The protesters, armed with sticks and other dangerous weapons, stormed the streets of the city to express their anger over Nyass’ alleged blasphemous statements against Prophet Mohammed.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The youths attempted to gain entry into the Kano State Government House, but were prevented by security operatives, who had hectic time calming them.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Chanting "Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar", meaning "God is great, God is great'', the youths temporarily caused chaos at the Government House, causing stampede for about an hour before the intervention of government officials and security agents, who also formed a ring-like barricade to prevent their entry.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The intervention of Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso was said to have averted a bloody clash between the protesters and security operatives manning the gate, while police officers were immediately drafted by the state Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to the scene.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The governor, who was represented by the Commissioner for State Affairs, Mr. Aminu Gwarzo, and the Commissioner for Water Resources, Dr. Yunusa Dangoni, later invited the leader of the sect, Sherriff Sani Jan-bluo, before peace was restored.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
However, the irate youths set ablaze Nyass' house in Gaide, Kombotso Local Government Area of the state and burnt part of the state Sharia court, a development which ignited widespread condemnation across the state from prominent Tijaniyya leaders, including Shiek Dairu Bauchi, and Califa Shiek Isyaka Rabiu.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The court, located in Rijia Lemo, where the preacher was supposed to appear was set ablaze by the youths after patiently waiting for a long time without him showing up.</div>
