<b>For anyone who doubts the miracle powers of God, an American woman, Hayley Haynes who was told she was genetically a man and could not have children of her own, has been blessed with twin daughters.</b></div>

At the age of 19, Haynes was diagnosed with a rare medical condition known as <b>androgen insensitivity syndrome</b> which means she could never conceive under normal circumstances as she neither had fallopian tubes nor ovaries and had never had a menstrual cycle.</div>

But after waiting and praying for her own fruit of the womb, Haynes, now 28, and her husband, Sam, have been blessed with not one, but two adorable daughters, named Avery and Darcey with the help of IVF treatment.</div>

The teenage girl, who is in Junior Secondary School (JSS) 3, lived with her family in a rented apartment on Oredapo Street, Idimangoro in the Agege area of Lagos.</div>

<i>Metro</i> correspondent gathered that the parents, who initially felt Latifat might have gone to their grandfather’s place in a neighbouring street, later became worried when the grandparents said they never saw her.</div>

They thereafter reported the matter at the Dopemu Police Division on December 27.</div>

When <i>Metro</i> correspondent visited the family’s apartment last Saturday, the mother, Maryam Sadiku, said her daughter was a well-behaved girl who, she believed, did not run away with a boyfriend.</div>

She added that all efforts by the family to locate her whereabouts till date had not yielded any result.</div>

She said, “On the evening of that Christmas Day, at about 7pm, she told me she was going to use the toilet. She then went to the tap and drew water. She made for the toilet and that was the last anyone knew. A neighbour washing clothes at the verandah said she saw Latifat stroll out of the compound.</div>

“She has never gone away like this. The only place she sometimes went was our grandfather’s house which is a few houses from us. She didn’t have any boyfriend she might be staying with.</div>

“People are just consoling us that she might be with female friends, but that is still very mysterious to me. I trust God that my daughter will return, and that the police will also put in more efforts.”</div>

As of the time of visit, Latifat’s father, Moshood, who works as an inter-state transporter, was not available for comment. It was learnt that the private school the teenager attended had also tried to locate her whereabouts but to no avail.</div>

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed that Latifat was on the police’s list of missing persons, adding that any member of the public with useful information should contact the Dopemu Police Station.</div>

He said, “Latifat speaks both Yoruba and English languages. Anyone who sees the teenager should report to the police.”</div>

A <b><a href="http://www.peoplesdailyng.com/confession-of-lagos-area-boys-pdp-agents-paid-us-n-3m-to-stone-buhari/">Peoples Daily</a></b> investigation reveals that some agents of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, met with some touts who dominate Ita Iga and Idumagbo area to carry out out the act.</div>

Idumagbo, Adeniji Adele, Oyebanji, and other volatile spots on the Island popularly called Isale- Eko are notorious for local touts, usually called <i>Area Boys</i>, move in groups to control various ‘junctions’.</div>

“We were paid to disrupt the visit, the PDP people met with us on Wednesday night and promised us ₦700,000 to stone Buhari and Asiwaju whenever they visit the Oba’s palace in Idumagbo. They gave us ₦300,000 advance here on Thursday and we shared it because it’s part of our national cake,” he said</div>

“At first we gathered at Ona Owa, entrance to the palace before we were dispersed by security agents attached to the APC convoy who came in a white luxurious bus.</div>

“We later moved to Transformer Junction and Isogari Idumagbo but it was obviously impossible to carry out the action, so we left for stadium where KWAM1 was performing,” he said.</div>

Asked if he informed the said PDP agents that he was unsuccessful in accomplishing the task, he said he refused to pick calls of the PDP agents.</div>

Another gang leader in Sari Iganmu who also pleaded anonymity alleged that, “Obanikoro is popular here but we are not enjoying his largesse like APC chieftains in the community.</div>

“I was informed of the deal but was not available and did not witness it; it’s not impossible because ‘boys’ are not happy, we are just seeing posters everywhere no money, so I can’t blame them, you should also know that this is Koro’s territory, so don’t be surprised if they are doing PDP, but all ‘boys’ here are not interested in party; they are looking for what to eat”</div>

Earlier, Senator Obanikoro had stuck to his guns that Gen Buhari was indeed stoned in Lagos while making his way to the APC Lagos presidential rally on Friday.</div>

He said in a statement signed by his media aide Ohimai Amaize that “based on eyewitness accounts, he is aware of the stoning incident at Idumagbo area of Isale-Eko, Lagos State and the fact that a woman was injured in the ensuing fracas after General Buhari’s security detail had to shoot into the air to dispel the irate mob.”</div>

Obanikoro had condemned the alleged stoning of General Buhari in Lagos, calling on Lagosians to eschew violence.</div>
