<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Political thugs unleashed terror yesterday morning on the residents of Opoyosa and Ayeye in Ibadan, Oyo State, looting and destroying properties worth several thousands of Naira. The hoodlums were said to have stormed the areas at midnight and were dispersed at 4 a.m, when members of the state security outfit, Operation Burst, arrived at the scene.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Last Friday, hoodlums attacked residents and supporters of the <i>All Progressives Congress</i> (APC), who were waiting to receive Governor Abiola Ajimobi.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On Sunday, they attacked Born Photo, Idi-Arere near Oke-Ado, Ibadan, vandalising vehicles, houses and looting shops.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Residents of Ayeye and Opoyosa woke up early to discover some of their shops looted by the hoodlums.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
More than 13 shops were looted, major roads were littered with broken bottles and sharp objects to prevent vehicles from accessing the areas.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Residents complained of frightening gunshots sounds in the night, which they said caused anxiety among the people.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A trader at Ayeye Market, simply identified as Baba Folake, who sells assorted drinks, described the incident as disturbing.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He said: “How long shall we continue with this violence? Last Friday, it was the killing of a policeman and destruction of properties, many innocent people were injured.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“On Sunday, Born-Photo and Popo areas we learnt were sacked by criminals, yet we have law enforcement agents in the State.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“Yesterday, it was agony resulting from losses. Many shops were looted; we are trying to make ends meet because we trade with loans. Please we need peace and order in the State.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Chairman, Ibadan North West Local Government, Wasiu Olatunbosun, blamed the attack on the opposition.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Olatunbosun fingered a <i>Peoples Democratic Party</i> (PDP) youth leader in the local government as the mastermind of the attack.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He said: “What happened yesterday was politically motivated and it justified the alarm which was raised that the opposition has planned to forment trouble in some local governments in Ibadan.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“The attack was led by a PDP youth leader in the local government and people saw him when he led these thugs to unleash terror on the people.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“When I learnt that these people have come to cause havoc, I called <i>Operation Burst</i> and that was why the damage was not much.”</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The police in Lagos have arrested a gardener, Godswill David, for allegedly defiling a primary 3 pupil in the Ikota Housing Estate, Lagos State. We learnt that the victim lived in the same house with David.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The house was said to be owned by the suspect’s father.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><b>Punch Metro</b></i> correspondent learnt that on the fateful day, 20-year-old David asked the victim to fetch him a sachet of detergent.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The victim was said to be searching for the detergent when the suspect followed her into the room and forcibly undressed and raped her.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
While the act was on, the victim screamed for help, while the suspect’s stepmother rushed into the room and allegedly met David on top of the little girl.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
She was said to have turned back and shut the door.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
David allegedly threatened the victim that she would die if she told anyone what transpired between them.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Our correspondent gathered that on the following day, the victim was sleeping when David again attempted to have carnal knowledge of her.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
She was said to have ran out and told her ordeal to an aunt, who in turn narrated the incident to her parents.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The matter was reported at the police station, leading to David’s arrest.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A police source told <i>PUNCH Metro</i> the victim had been taken to a hospital where she went through some medical tests.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“The result showed that the hymen was no longer intact,” he said.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The matter was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, from where the suspect was arraigned on one count of unlawful defilement.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Akwa Ibom State indigene was arraigned on Monday before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrate’s Court.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The charge reads, “That you, Godswill David Jnr, on October 9, 2014, at about 2pm, at Ikota Housing Estate, Lagos State, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did unlawfully have sexual intercourse with a minor, 10 years.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The police prosecutor, DSP Etim Nkankuk, said the offence was punishable under Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2011.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
David said he was not guilty of the offence and elected summary trial.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
His defence counsel, Beauty Otigih, applied for his bail in liberal terms.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Chief Magistrate, A.A. Demi-Ajayi, admitted him to bail in the sum of ₦500,000 and two sureties in like sum.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The case was adjourned to January 19, 2015.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The General Overseer of <i><b>Elyon International All Christian Praying Ministry</b></i>, Apostle Babatunde Oyidi, has made another prophesy. The cleric who reportedly prophesied the death of former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua six days after his swearing-in, said the over 234 female students that were abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, by the Boko Haram sect will soon be released, <i><b>Daily Post</b></i> reports.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The seer pleaded with President Goodluck Jonathan to be careful as well as work in the ways of God. He said Nigeria will triumph over its current security challenge if Mr. President heed to good advice.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Oyidi said President Jonathan was not the political messiah of Nigeria but only a precursor to the President who would rescue the country by initiating workable policies and programmes.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
He, however, advised Jonathan to stand firm and focused, adding that he should not afraid or allow the so called ‘godfathers’ of the present system to control him.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The cleric advise Jonathan to always abide by the commands of the most high God in whatever he did as the President saying; “whatever he does now, he would be held accountable for it.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“The Lord God Almighty has revealed that President Jonathan has surrounded himself with enemies in the form of friends. He must, therefore, be careful of his aides. Once more, the President must check and cross-check all those who hang around him because there is a leakage within the ranks,” Oyidi said.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The popular clergyman was also said to have warned the late MKO Abiola not to contest for President in the annulled Presidential election of 1993 which eventually cost the business mogul his life.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It would be recalled that on November 22, 2014, the General Overseer of <i>Galilee Christian Center</i> in Lagos, Prophet Williams Onuoha, had predicted that the current Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, would become Nigeria’s President in 2015.  </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I've got more questions than I can really answer on this crazy trend of exposing or leaking young girls sex clips (video and/or photos). I still haven't got the reason why Nigeria guys are so W I C K E D on their babes these days. I mean, why do they go to the extent of exposing what they once cherished either genuinely or deceitfully.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Are they being paid for doing this? <i>Yes nah! Naija no dey carry last, you know nah. You can't trust a Naija guy won't do anything for money even if na to bring im mama head</i>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But I should stop here to once again blame the girls. When will you wise up? When will you start using your heads? Apologies for the insults! But not as insulting and degrading as having your naked photos here and there on the internet courtesy of a disgruntled ex and/or a perceived hater. The fact is they won't have anything to expose about you if you don't pose stupidly to take disgusting pics which will sooner or later find their way to the internet.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<i>Em...em...(coughs)...</i>I actually thought as much, that Daddy G O bought the ₦80 million stretch limousine <b><i>to celebrate the goodness of God</i></b>. But I'm not quite happy our daddy in the Lord didn't get a private jet instead. Or, don't you think my friends whose <i>'daddies in the Lord'</i> already have private jets will mock me. Anyway, let them know that it's not that our own Daddy G O doesn't have enough money to acquire a private jet <i>to celebrate the goodness of God.</i></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
In case I forget, please someone should remind me to send my tithes to the church next Monday oooo! Abeg! Biko!! D'Allah!!! Too much in my brain ni ooo. Just a reminder will do.</div>
