The political sagacity and astuteness of the Kano State Governor, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, again came to bare as he dealt the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) heavy punches in the governorship election.
The kwankwasiya movement of the governor which is the main political structure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has shown its support for the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Umar Ganduje who is the party's governorship candidate at the polls.
According to reports, the APC has won all 41 Local Government Areas so far declared by the INEC. From the announced results, the APC has polled a total of 1,384,657 votes while the PDP is coming in a distant second with 459,036 votes.
There are only 3 more LGAs outstanding to be officially declared.
