According to a report monitored on the Facebook page of Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, the APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari has been declared winner of the presidential election in Kaduna State.
Buhari polled 1,127,760 votes to defeat the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan who garnered 484,085 votes (30%).
Kaduna is the home State of incumbent Vice President Namadi Sambo. We had earlier reported that Sambo was beaten by the APC at his ward despite winning his polling unit.
Final collated results of all 23 LGs of Kaduna State: APC - 1,127,760 (70%), PDP - 484,085 (30%). We have delivered Kaduna to GMB but sadly, GEJ got more than 25%. Alhamdulillah.
