A 30-year-old man, Ben Okpokiri, has been dragged to the Ogudu Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, on a charge of stripping three women naked and assaulting them.
The culprit who resides at 28, Ekiti Pupa Street, Oworonshoki, a suburb of the State, was said to have committed the offence on February 10, 2015, at the address.
The police prosecutor, Lucky Ihiehie, told the court that the accused unlawfully assaulted the three complainants and stripped them naked in public during a fight.
Black Naija reports that Okpokiri stripped Bukola Afolabi, 25; Deborah Afolabi, 18; and Esther Afolabi, 14, all sisters living at the same address as the defendant.
Ihiehie said that the offence contravened Section 170 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State which stipulated a maximum of 1 year imprisonment, if found guilty.
The Magistrate, A. M. Davis, granted bail to the defendant in the sum of ₦120,000 with two sureties in like sum and an evidence of tax payment and residence for two years to be verified.
