Burundi's President Pierre Nkurunziza has replaced his defence and foreign ministers, presidential spokesperson Gervais Abayeho has told the BBC.
Sacked Defence Minister General Pontien Gaciyubwenge had previously called for the Burundian army to remain neutral amid the ongoing unrest over the President's bid for a third term.
No reason has yet been given for the dismissals.
