The self-acclaimed Africa's largest television network, the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), in a newscast reported that the Egyptian president has congratulated Nigerian president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari.

Though, the name of Abdel Fattah el-Sisi was mentioned as the Egyptian president, however, the photo of deposed President Mohamed Morsi was shown instead of el-Sisi's.
