Chelsea are on course to win the 2014/15 EPL title as they have now extended their lead at the top of the table to six point despite having a game at hand.

The latest points for the Blues came-off a hard fought 2-3 victory over Hull City on Sunday at the KC Stadium.

Chelsea benefited from a fast start as they went two goals up early in the half thanks to goals from Eden Hazard and Diego Costa. But two successive strikes from Ahmed El Mohamady and Hernández in the 26th and 28th minutes respectively restored parity for the Tigers as both sides filed out for the dugout at half time.

Chelsea got their winning goal in the second half when substitute Loic Remy wriggled out a crucial goal moments after being introduced into the game by Coach Jose Mourinho.

Earlier on Sunday, Manchester United gave their top-four finish a big boost as they secured a vital 1-2 win over Liverpool at Anfield.

Two goals from both halves by Juan Mata ensured visiting Manchester United emerged tops over 10-man Liverpool at Anfield as Brendan Rodgers men suffer their first League defeat in 2015.

The other game on Sunday also produced an away win as Everton compounded the relegation worries of QPR beating them 1-2 at Loftus Road.
